Refund Policy

At Bakeoff Boutique Bakery, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction. With our 30-day return policy, you have ample time to request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.

To qualify for a return, the item must be in its original packaging, unused, unworn, and with all tags attached. Please include the receipt or proof of purchase along with your return request.

To initiate a return, kindly reach out to us at hello@bakeoffcakes.in. Upon acceptance of your return, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on where and how to send the package. Please note that we cannot accept returns without prior authorization.

Shipping & Delivery Policy:

  • For same-day standard time and regular cake delivery, orders must be received by Bakeoff Boutique Bakery before 2-4
    hours of delivery timing. Monday – Sunday, IST.
  • For same-day midnight delivery, orders must be received by Bakeoff Boutique Bakery before 2-4 hours of delivery
    timing. Monday – Sunday, IST.
  • For same-day designer cake delivery, orders must be received by Bakeoff Boutique Bakery before 3-4 hours of delivery
    timing. Monday – Sunday, IST.

Delivery may take longer due to:

1. Bad weather 2. Political disruptions 3. Other unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. Please check your e-mails and SMS regularly for updates.

Before major occasions, we suggest that you place your order at least 3 to 4 days in advance. Products that are hand-delivered cannot be delivered along with courier products.

For perishable items like cakes and flowers, we attempt delivery only once. If the delivery is not executed during this attempt, you will still be charged for the order and no re-delivery will be possible. The order will be considered executed in the following cases:

  • Wrong shipping/delivery address
  • Recipient is not available
  • Premises locked
  • Recipient refuses to accept the delivery

If the recipient is not available, they can inform the delivery person to leave the order at the gate/reception/neighbor.

Proof of delivery will be provided in case of any dispute. If no one is available to accept the delivery, the order will not be considered late. Therefore, no refunds, cancellations, or liability can be made in such cases. We will try our best by:

  • Calling the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time
  • Leaving a note on the recipient’s door to contact the florist
  • Leaving the bouquet/arrangement in a secure area
  • Leaving the bouquet/arrangement with a neighbor and placing a message on the recipient’s door

Damages and Issues:

We kindly request that you carefully inspect your order upon receipt. If you notice any defects, or damages, or receive an incorrect item, please notify us immediately. We will promptly address the issue and make it right.

Exceptions/Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items cannot be returned due to their nature, including perishable goods such as food, flowers, or plants, as well as custom products or personalized items. Additionally, for safety reasons, we do not accept returns of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. If you have any concerns about the eligibility of your specific item for return, please reach out to us for clarification.

Please note that sale items and gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Exchanges:

To ensure a smooth and efficient exchange process, we recommend returning the item you wish to exchange. Once your return is approved, you can proceed with a separate purchase of the desired item.

Refunds:

  • All refunds shall be made within the period of 2-3 working days from the date of cancellation.

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be automatically processed back to your original payment method. Please note that it may take 2-3 working days for your bank or credit card company to process and reflect the refund.
